The PokeNerds Store is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Children's Event Coordinator to join our team. The Children's Event Coordinator will be responsible for managing and facilitating events for kids at our store, including kids trade night, Card Quest, and birthday parties.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate kids trade night, including setting up the event space and assisting kids and their parents with trading pokemon cards
• Host Card Quest events on Saturdays, engaging with guests and ensuring that the event runs smoothly
• Plan and execute birthday parties, including setting up the event space, leading games and activities, and ensuring that the party runs smoothly
• Communicate with parents and guardians to coordinate event details and address any concerns or questions
• Maintain a clean and organized event space
• Assist with other tasks as needed, including merchandising and customer service

Qualifications:

• Passion for working with kids and a friendly, outgoing personality
• Experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting is a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of pokemon and the trading card game is a plus, but not required
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings is required
