Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable retail associate to join our team at The PokeNerds Store. As the face of our store, the retail associate will be responsible for providing a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and provide excellent customer service
• Stay up-to-date on the latest happenings in the world of Pokémon
• Perform basic arithmetic to complete transactions and assist with pricing inquiries
• Keep the store clean and organized, including restocking shelves and cleaning displays and floors
• Use a computer to update spreadsheets and communicate with leadership
• Answer the phone in a professional manner
• Assist guests with playing games in the store, such as the gashapon machines

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred, but not required
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer proficiency
• Knowledge of Pokémon and enthusiasm for the franchise is a plus
